Our Lawn Sand Moss Killer is. It has a granular formulation which contains 14.1% w/w iron sulphate heptahydrate (equivalent to 7.7% w/w iron sulphate anhydrous) that will kill moss in most lawns and encourages strong, healthy growth of the grass. This 960g pack will cover up to 12 square metres of an area. Always read the label. Directions for use: Apply any time between late spring and early autumn when moss is actively growing. Choose a time when the soil is moist and the grass is dry. Do not apply during drought or freezing conditions. Do not apply in windy weather to avoid drift onto plants, patios, decking or ponds. Grass should not be cut 3 days before treatment and not cut again until at least 4 days after treatment. Apply at 80 grams per square metre, either by hand or with a spreader. application: The easiest way to apply is with a spreader set to the correct spreading rate. If you wish to apply by hand, we recommend you mark out square metres on your lawn using either pegs and string or canes. Wear gloves and sprinkle the product evenly at a rate of 80 grams per square metre. Initially, spread the recommended amount over one of the squares and then use this as a visual guide for the remaining squares. Overdosing with fertiliser can damage lawns. Avoid walking on the lawn until it has rained or been watered in. If no rain falls within 48 hours of treatment, water the treated grass. Keep children and pets away from treated areas until the product has been watered in. Wait 4 days after application before mowing the lawn.
