Indoor sowing: Sow thinly in trays of seed compost, and cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently, and keep moist and warm. Outdoor sowing: Sow thinly in a prepared seed bed in rows 23cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm fine soil, firm gently, and keep moist. When large enough, thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position from September to October. Flowers May to October the following year. TIP: Remove dead flower heads to prolong flowering. Hardy Perennial. Average content: 50 seeds.
